Filling and solidification simulation

Filling and solidification simulation: Complex part geometry raises the requirement for correct die concept. At customer’s request we can simulate for optimal filling and solidification during the parts geometry development and thereby assure most optimal casting of the part in implementation. Through the help of a highly reputable simulation programs we can simulate and determine how to avoid turbulence and air inclusions.

FEM Calculations:

During the design we use software to calculate the strength for special exposed parts of the die, such as the holder blocks and the slide lock up system.

Calculation of the Thermals:

Design and calculation of the thermals is executed utilizing the DieTherm design software. Through such calculations we help the consistency for an easy release in ejecting the part. The design also allows for termination of thermal bottle necks and can therefore be used to optimize the cycle time.
