THE ENTIRE PALETTE

At the customer's request, we cover the entire process chain and accompany you from the first draft to the final casting.

We are happy to provide advice during product development:

Wall thickness analysis of the casting,
Identification and development of possible optimization potential in relation to the casting requirements,
De-mouldability (undercuts, roundings, drafts),
Taking into account the separation processes, including slide separations,
Separation courses taking punch deburring into account,
Consideration of punching ribs, flow aids, ejector eyes,
Avoiding weak points in the tool.

CONSTRUCTION

Mechanical Design

We create our 3D tool designs in close cooperation with our customers. A strong team of 15 designers experienced in die casting ensures that your molds are equipped with the best solutions and that you come close to the goal of 100% quality with the shortest cycle time with a trouble-free mold.

We create your designs either in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.

ENGINEERING

The entire process chain at a glance

We have many years of process know-how from part development to the final processing of a die-cast part. Knowledge about the individual phases of the process flows into every step in the creation of a die-casting mold.

SIMULATION & CALCULATION

Simulation & calculation

These tools are now indispensable. With more than 25 years of experience, we carry out filling, solidification and cycle simulations in-house with two experienced engineers. The evaluation of the results provides valuable information on optimizing the geometry even in the development phase of a part.

Development of the optimal sprue and ventilation concept
Cost optimization through efficient use of materials
Development of the cooling system to achieve the required part quality and the best possible cycle time
Material-optimized design of the molds in terms of strength and minimization of mold deflection

MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

Maintenance & repairs

Fast response time and flexible use

Due to increasing casting calls in ever shorter periods of time, tool maintenance often requires speed and flexibility combined with high quality. Our service offering therefore includes:

Fast and short-term deployment directly to the customer on site,
Fast and short-term tool maintenance and repairs in our tool shop,
Preventive and planned tool maintenance,
Customer advice and support in finding solutions,
Introducing changes or optimizations from the design to the finished form.

PROTOTYPES

From the casting to the finished part

We can deliver not only the casting of the first dimensional samples, but also the first prototype parts upon customer request.

Among other things, we can offer:

The casting, if required, of several hundred prototype parts for test tests with or without customer presence,
Measuring and test reporting,
Mechanical processing according to customer drawings.

Spare Parts

Spare parts management through series production

In order to keep series production and the required casting qualities stable, spare parts management is playing an increasingly important role.

Among other things, we offer:

Ready-to-install and measured rotating cores with and without milling contours,
Ready-to-install and measured jet-cooled cores and partial inserts,
Ready-to-install and measured partial contour inserts,
Ready-to-install and measured main inserts and slide attachments,
As required, coatings according to specific customer requirements of all components,
Norm and standard parts such as ejectors, sleeves, jet cooling units etc.

SAMPLING & TEST REPORT

Sampling & EMPB

Tool sampling

In order to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the tools before delivery to our customers, we have the opportunity and the know-how to carry out tool sampling independently or together with our customers if necessary.

We have the following available for this:

Several long-term partnerships with access to DG machine sizes from 1.200 - 4.200 tons of clamping force,
Casting of aluminum and magnesium castings,
Wide range of aluminum and magnesium alloys according to customer requirements,
Access to X-ray systems, crack detection options, spectral analysis, etc.

EMPB creation

At the customer's request, we can create initial sample test reports in-house and make them available in documentation.

We have the following available for this:

3 qualified measurement technicians in 2-shift operation
Zeiss Prismo for precise, tactile measurement
Three optical measuring systems from GOM (2x Atos Scanner, 1x Tritop)
Air-conditioned measuring room
Creation of test reports according to VDA 2
