Quality Assurance

Before we check quality, we manufacture it. To finish our contour parts, we use state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centers from DMG Mori and the latest die-sinking EDM technology from Exeron.

To check, we measure important features on the machine. Our graphite electrodes are also completely optically measured before they are used on our contour parts.

Each completed contour part is then 100% measured. We use the following equipment for this:

• air-conditioned measuring room
• Zeiss Prismo coordinate measuring machine
• three optical measuring systems from GOM (2x Atos scanner, 1x Tritop)

All deviations are evaluated in our daily “Quality” shop floor meeting, and we regularly analyze the causes and derive measures for process optimization.

If necessary, we also create measurement reports for castings in accordance with VDA 2 for our customers.
